Montville Christmas spirit in July
There’s a chill in the air and it’s tiome to get out your mistletoe and chestnuts and get ready to celebrate Christmas in July. Where else but Montville? Chamber of Commerce president Shiralee Cooper is calling on hinterlanders to embrace the magic of winter in Montville.
“Our village will be ready to warm your hearts with music, fun and fabulous food,” she said.
“Experience the joy of Christmas in July as you stroll along Main Street Montville and take in the festive vibe at the Village Green from 2pm Saturday July 17.
Carollers and musicians will be spreading joy along Main Street. The Blackall Range Lions will be cooking their famous prawns on a stick and their tasty Bratwurst and sauerkraut rolls.
“Mr Jay (pictured) our favourite balloon twister will be entertaining children along with a face painter on the Village Green from 2pm,” said Shiralee.
“And the sensational sound of the Pantastic Steel Band will liven up the Village Green from 2.15pm along with some local stalls. Many cafes and shops will stay open until 5pm.”
• Montville Chamber thanks the Sunshine Coast Council for providing funding towards this event at the Village Green from 2pm Saturday July 17.
